In Source Code (2011), Jake Gyllenhaal stars as Captain Colter Stevens who wakes up in the body of an unknown man. He learns that he’s part of a top-secret experimental program that enables him to experience the final 8 minutes of another person’s life. He discovers he’s involved in a mission to find the bomber of a Chicago commuter train and he re-lives the train incident over and over again gathering more clues each time.
As time is of utmost importance here, you see Jake wearing a watch which seems to be the Victorinox Swiss Army 241300 Chrono Classic XLS MT where he resets the countdown timer to 8 minutes. This 45mm gunmetal PVD stainless steel case comes with a scratch-resistant, triple-coated anti reflective sapphire crystal. The analog digital face comes with the standard hour and minute luminescent hands and also 2 LCD displays. Apart from the countdown timer, there’s also date, alarm functions and battery end-of-life indicator.
This is a tough and cool watch from Victorinox for those people who like analog digital watches. The Victorinox Chrono Classis XLS MT retails for $1195 but you may be able to get it around $574 from Amazon. Check out the video review of it below:-
