Aaron Kwok Fu-Sing 郭富城 returns as Sean Lau in this crime thriller Cold War 2 (2016) and is now the Commissioner of Police after the successful rescue operation in the first movie. However, things turn bad when his wife is kidnapped. Sean decides to override the police protocol and does whatever it takes to save her and later on find out the culprit and bring them to justice.
Aaron Kwok does not seem to age at all and in fact looks even better with age like wine. Being a veteran in the entertainment industry in Hong Kong, he’s hugely popular in Asia and Longines has got the right man to be their brand ambassador. In the movie, Kwok is seen wearing a Longines Heritage 1973(L2.7184.108.40.206) which is a reissue of a model created by the brand in 1973. The vintage and classy white panda chronograph looks beautiful in the movie and came out unscathed during the gun battles.
The cushion stainless steel case comes in a good 40mm size which should fit the smaller wrists. Lug-to-lug height is 47.6mm and thickness of 14.4mm. The lug width is 20mm and paired with a classy black alligator strap. The watch is powered by a L688.2 movement, which is an automatic column-wheel chronograph exclusive to Longines. The movement beats at 28,800 vibrations per hour and providing 54 hours of power reserve. The case is protected by sapphire lens and is also water resistant to 30 meters. The watch retails at $3,250 but you can get it for around $2,718 at Amazon. Check out the excellent video review by Worn & Wound below.
