Liam Neeson’s Watch In Non-Stop Movie

I had some free time the other day and decided to check out Liam Neeson’s latest movie Non-Stop (2014). If you’ve not seen it, it’s about a US federal air marshal by the name of Bill Marks who received text messages on his secure phone saying that someone on the plane he’s on will die every 20 minutes unless $150 million is transferred to a bank account. So the cool Liam Neeson decides to take it seriously and whips out his watch, presses a button and voila the watch automatically starts counting down from 20 minutes. His watch seems to know what he’s thinking…Anyway if you’re wondering what watch he’s wearing in the movie, it’s a Casio Wave Ceptor WV58DA-1AV.

This stainless steel watch has a 44mm wide case and 11mm thickness which makes this watch on the bigger side and probably looks better on thicker wrists. It comes with a lot of features like multi-band atomic timekeeping (US, UK) that syncs 6 times a day to keep your time accurate. It also has world time for up to 29 time zones (48 cities), EL backlight, stop watch, countdown timer, auto calendar till year 2099, daily alarm and is also 50m water resistant.

It’s a battery powered digital watch with no analog hands and you will see different sections displaying different info. The upper window displays the month and date and the lower two windows display the day of the week and she wave ceptor receiving signal. The band is stainless steel with fold-over clasp and double push-button safety. And the retail price for this is just $49 but you can get it for $30 at Amazon. Now that’s a bargain for a feature rich watch. Check out the video review of it below.
